SAN FRANCISCO, CA ­ November 28, 2020 ­ CMP's DV Media Group announced plans to launch DV Expo East, an East Coast version of the annual DV Expo West Coast event. DV Expo East will be held at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City, June 25-26, 2002, in conjunction with TechXNY and PC Expo. DV Media Group Director, Scott Gentry, comments, "This is the first time we've taken DV Expo to the East Coast and we are very excited about it."

DV Expo East will showcase emerging products and services essential to the growing dynamic media market during a two-day expo. In addition, DV Expo East will offer a simultaneous, in-depth conference curriculum tailored to meet the growing educational needs of creative professionals. High-profile industry experts will lead sessions in creating, manipulating, and delivering visual content.

DV Expo East will leverage DV Media Group's experience with producing events DVPW, previously a two-day workshop at NAB, and DV Expo West, which was introduced in 1997. Past attendance at both DVPW and DV Expo West have indicated the popularity and demand for an event focused on the digital video industry for the East Coast.
