Publication Keeps Pace with Explosive Growth in
Digital Video Market

DV MAGAZINE INCREASES CIRCULATION 33%, ENJOYS STRONGEST MARKETSHARE GROWTH IN ITS CATEGORY

SAN FRANCISCO - September 5 - CMP Media, Inc., today announced that the circulation of Digital Video (DV) magazine increased from 60,000 to 80,000 professionals involved in digital video production, postproduction, and delivery, giving DV the fastest growing circulation among all professional-level video publications. In addition, CMP announced that DV's share of the advertising pages in its category has grown more than that of any other professional-level video publication this year.

DV augmented its qualified circulation beginning with its July 2000 issue in order to more adequately meet the exploding demand for objective, practical information on digital video tools and technologies. "More and more video professionals are taking advantage of the recent spate of low cost digital video tools that are more powerful than ever," explains Dominic Milano, Editorial Director of the CMP DV Media Group. "Now they need to know how to use these tools most effectively," Milano adds.
