DV Expo, the premier conference and expo exclusively focused on video production, postproduction, and delivery, moves to the Los Angeles Convention Center, December 3-7, 2001. Now in its fifth year, DV Expo has doubled in size each year since its inception.

DV Expo presents specialized instruction of more than 80 conference sessions and tutorials taught by independent industry experts who concentrate on practical solutions in digital video, 3D, and Web video. Full day intensives focus on lighting, motion graphics, and 3D character design and development. The expo hall, packed with over 100 exhibiting companies, showcases the latest digital video tools and technologies that are essential to producing compelling visual content. And back by popular demand, the DV Film Fest stages a big screen presentation of the digital landscape's brightest independent film work.

Special events include a welcome reception, two keynote addresses, vendor-sponsored technical sessions, open forums, and various association meetings.

DV.com hosts more than 166,000 visitors a month (as audited by BPA International Interactive, January 2001) and has experienced a 40 percent increase in traffic over the past year.
