George Anderson

George Anderson is a senior solutions manager for the broadcast and postproduction industries at WAM!NET, working closely with entertainment customers to ensure leading-edge deployment and use of WAM!NET e-services. He has been instrumental in a number of WAM!NET broadcaster digital workflow successes, including the BBC Worldwide Americas Library Services digitization of 50-plus years of radio and TV archives for an online stock footage library. He holds a B.S. in broadcasting and film from Boston University's School of Communications. Class: 116

Paul Bales

Paul Bales has been with the Screen Actors Guild since 1998. He works in the theatrical contracts department and his responsibilities include signing producers to collective bargaining agreements and resolving grievances. Prior to joining the Guild he was the West Coast representative for the American Guild of Variety Artists, SAG's sister union, which represents club singers, magicians, dancers, jugglers, and amusement-park entertainers. Steve Bannerman

Steve Bannerman is responsible for defining directions for Apple's industry standard, cross-platform QuickTime Media Layer and related tools. Marcie Begleiter is a filmmaker and educator who has worked extensively in the film, video, and interactive industries. Charles Wiltgen

Charles Wiltgen's interest in multimedia began in his youth when, for a 4-H contest, he created a sight- and sound-filled extravaganza involving the alien abduction of livestock on his TRS-80 color computer. Unfortunately, the judges failed to recognize the brilliance of his work and awarded the prize to an actual cow. More recently, Wiltgen spent four years as Apple's QuickTime technology manager.
